The Ukrainian Association of NZ South is proud to be part of Culture Galore, Christchurch’s massive celebration of food, performance, and community. This year, the festival moves to a new central spot at the Multicultural Recreation and Community Centre (right by the Hagley Park netball courts), and we’ll be there in full force.

We’re bringing the best of Ukraine to the festival. It’s more than just a day out – it’s a chance to stand with our community and keep our culture loud and proud in New Zealand.
- Authentic Cuisine: Stop by our stall for a taste of home. We’ll be serving up traditional Ukrainian flavours that’ll beat a standard food truck any day.
- Solidarity in Action: Every bit of support we receive helps us continue our mission of representing Ukraine and supporting our people here and abroad.
The Details:
Culture Galore is part of Unity Week. If you want to show real solidarity, join the optional Solidarity Walk starting at the Bridge of Remembrance before heading to the festival grounds.
- Entry: Free.
- Payment: Bring CASH. Most stalls won’t have Eftpos. We will have the Paywave option too.
- Vibe: Family-friendly, smoke-free, and dogs on leashes are welcome.
