Join us as we celebrate the official opening of the Ukrainian Children’s Book Collection at Christchurch’s central library!
This family-friendly community event is open to everyone. Whether you’re Ukrainian, a Kiwi, or simply interested in languages and cultures, we’d love to welcome you.
What to expect:
- 📖 Official opening ceremony
- 🎭 A unique theatrical storytelling performance by the Ukrainian School
- 🎨 Free children’s craft activities
- 🎶 Live choir performance
- 🍰 Ukrainian food, sweets, and souvenirs available for purchase
The storytelling performance is designed to be engaging and enjoyable for children of all ages and backgrounds, making it a wonderful opportunity to experience Ukrainian culture in a fun and interactive way.
